I have squandered the greater part of my years upon this drifting stone called Earth, and what remains is meager. I cast aside chances and dreams as one might toss a coin into the sea, and so I pass my days in poor health and poorer purpose, bound to work that gives nothing back.
Yet one small dream, long dismissed as worthless, still waits where I left it...
Not in hope of rescue, but so my children may see that a life spent walking toward a dream, however small, holds more worth than one surrendered to emptiness.
